Being cursed with a) superfine hair b) precious little of it and c) a face so round it makes soup plates jealous I was wondering what my best options are for working the retro look with a wig. You know, maybe. Perhaps.

At present my hair is cut pretty short and I try and sport a spiky style or a quiff (though most days just give up and slap on a hat) my hair is so fine that post cut it looks OK for about a week and then........blap, spamhead. Plus any moisture in the air at all and it frizzes (quite why I chose to live in Manchester escapes me) I love my mother for giving me her legs but wish she had kept the follicle genes to herself. Mind you my dad is bald so.......... Rolling Eyes

Any advice on good places to source a wig or recommendations on style for the roundest of round faces gratefully received Smile I bet Dita Von Teese never had this problem *sigh*

I have the same problem as you. Thin/fine lifeless hair. That is why I have over 40 wigs. Some I make myself and others I buy. I also use extensions at times when I can be bothered.
Here are some links to websites that I have used. They range from cheap to really pricey! I love them all.

Try ebay. You could also try on a variety of wigs in shops and see what styles suit you best and then buy off the internet. There is Pauls hair shop on Oldham street and the wig section in Selfridges ( their wigs are very pricey, I have bought the same if not better online for half the price of theirs).

Have fun wig shopping. I need to get some more soon. Posting these links has made me drool over at least 5 more wigs to add to my collection!!

I have thin hair too! Its so annoying, specially when my roots come through and my mousey hair under the black makes it look like I'm going bald!
