I am having a tea party for some close friends next week and I really want to get creative and make some cake stands using some vintage plates I have around the house.
I have seen all sorts of tutorials for doing this with different types of materials but really want to do them with the metal dividers (rather than glass, candlesticks and teacups like in some of the tutorials). Does any one know where I can get these?

I would try eBay - I've bought a couple of 2 tier china cakestands from there after admiring the ones that Zoe has at Time for Tease.
You could even buy a damaged one and just take the risers off it.
