im gonna make one for my next new act and wondered are there any particular brands to use as a base that folks would recommend? and how do you keep em clean after youve stuck rhinestones etc on them-dry cleaning?

Buy them from Primark. Then if anything goes wrong you didn't waste much money  |

Yip Primark is good and also I route around in my drawers for ones that I have bough and just don't ware.
So far with anything that I have customized myself I just very gently hand wash it and some stones will fall off so you just have to keep adding them.
