If you get the right shade of red it won't make your teeth look yellow. I think the blue-tinted reds help make them look whiter I couldn't say what a blue-tinted red is though, or give you any examples... _________________ baby on the way |

I would be inclined not to choose something from the orange/red end of the spectrum, I would travel over to the lighter end of the brown/burgundy/purple reds, if that make any sense at all.
If not, arm your self with make-up remover wipes and hit the tester stands or go see the lovely make-up artists at mac, they always give the best advice.

When people say 'blue' based it tends to be the pinker toned ones,a nice rich cherry red sounds like it would work well. They have make up counters usually in boots or debenhams, they may be able to help you? I used to like Liz Collinges make up as it was split into different sections for different skin tones but does not exist anymore. : ( _________________ Nails are to scratch the backs of your friends and the eyes of your enemies. |

I honestly agree with Ruby's advice. Blue-tinted red lipsticks do make your teeth look whiter, the one I've got is MAC Russian Red if that helps as a starting point for your perfect red.
