I have been using Clinique 3-step system for about 2 years, but I was wondering if I would be better off with something else?
I have relatively clear skin, a combination skin type, but open/enlarged pores. I'm 30 (if that makes any difference). I have a couple of fine lines under my eyes, and I do notice a little baggage under the eye area when I'm tired.
Looking at my Clinique set it would cost me £60 for a set that would last me about a year.
I looked at Clarins but their stuff would set me back about £100 and as far as I can tell, the bottles are half the size.
Boots are doing an offer on their No 7 Ultimate skincare collection - for £25!)
It contains...

· Awakening Eye Gel, 15ml
· Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask, 100ml
· Hydro Quench Sauna Mask, 75ml
· Instant Radiance Beauty Lotion, 15ml

· Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum, 5ml
· Lighten & Brighten Age Spot Corrector, 5ml
· Total Renewal Micro-dermabrasion Exfoliator, 25ml

with my financial situation (trying to pay off debts) I wondered if this would be worth getting as a cheaper alternative? ??? Or does anyone have any other recommendations for me.
Thanks

If you really want cheap, here goes;
Cleanser;
Full fat live yoghurt; massage into face and remove with damp cotton wool pads, repeat.
Toner;
Pure rose water, apply to dampened pads and starting at collar bones cover skin in upward sweeping motion.
Eye make up remover;
Olive oil, dip cotton bud into oil and gently roll down the lasheses remove with damp pad.
Moisturiser;
Shea Butter
Macadamia Oil
Rosehip Oil
combined in equal parts this is a feast for your face.
Nothing will be kinder to your skin than the above and costs alot less then the hogwash we are sold on the high streets.

I have converted to Ruby's school of beat-tea and can honestly say, despite the occasional breakout, my skin has never been better! _________________ www.leedsburlesque.co.uk |
