| Yep, i'm a porcelaine girl and I do anything to keep pale - factor 50, parasols and long sleeves in sweltering heat! I just got Told by a photographer that my skin photographs beautifully, so I guess I must be doing something right! |

I'm a pale skinned red head, and it was the bane of my life growing up.
I love it now (though I do like to dye my hair, it's currently blonde, but I always go back to red).
Kids used to be so cruel. It's kind of like a form of racism! I belive that pale skin/red hair and 'alternative' bullying is seen as the last acceptable form of prejudice. I still get abuse from time to time, mostly from chavvy kids who find it amusing to point out that I'm pale, ginger and tattooed...gee, I hadn't noticed!
Oh, and from adults who believe it is perfectly fine to tell me they would be absolutely horrifed if they had red headed kids! I mean really....is that rude or what?
