I am just eiditing mine down. I suppose it's quality not quantity, I was a little worried about fixing the soundtrack to fit but I've got it sorted now.
Realy looking forward to meeting you all xx |

That the bit thats worrying me, not the routine just the music editing! I'm not the most computer savvy person as it is and I need to get nearly a minute off mine are there any idiot proof systems or hints about? _________________ Better to have come from nothing than nothing come from you |

I am not that computer savvy either but the most basic way to do it is go into I-tunes right click on the song then click on "Get Info" and then Click on "change stop time" or if you want to take a bit off at the start click on "change start time". Thats what I am doing for now untill I can find a better way. |

Hi All
Just to reassure you all, 4 mins is quite a common duration for any Burlesque act...as it was stated it's about quality not quantity so don't worry.
I would recommend that everyone downloads Audacity and gets to grips with it. It might seem daunting at first but it's quite simple really and will become a really important tool for future performances. Not only can you shorten tracks but you can also blend tracks together...so much better than handing the dj a cd with a few tracks on and asking him to skip to track two after 55 seconds of track one!!!

I'm with Sean -- Audacity is so simple to use after just a coupla minutes playing around with it. You can edit entire songs, do remixes, change tempos....pretty much everything you need to be a little Fatboy Slim!
