Hi there, going back to the Myspace perverts discussion. What if you're using MySpace to self-promote? I've posted details of performances to encourage people to go but do you think that's an undue risk?
I've only had one creepy message before and I blocked them immediately (and also took note to change myself from posted as single to posted in a relationship). But I just thought there was nothing much in the way of identifiable info available on MySpace. Am I wrong? I'm fairly new to the MySpace thing so I'm not sure now.

i put 'married' and a note to say dont bother chatting me up, there will always be some. just delete the msgs and usually thats it
in the event of repeated msgs you can block users,
im always careful not to put my real birthday, postcode or other personal details online.
if someones determined to find you they will, but 99% of people are thick and lazy so just make it harder for them and they generally dont bother.
for personal pics you can do friends only viewing, and your profile is set to private anyway.
i wouldnt worry hun
