Toned legs

Everyone has part of their body that they hate... mine is my legs, any idea on toning (and slimming legs)  but actually doing it, not getting better heels to make them seem more slender!

I need to get stuck in with getting them to a better shape as i'm pretty happy with the rest of me!! Smile

Thanks,
Lily

If you havent got accsess to a gym there are a few really good ones you can do at home (( I became an at home manic exercise monster thing when i was at the gym xD ))

Try squats and then when coming out of the squat keep going up on to your tip toes and then back to standing,

Or lay on your back and get someone to stand with one foot either side of your heat , hold onto there lower leg and lift your legs up as far as you can and then let your helper catch a-hold and throw them back down on the floor ((but you must resist so that they dont crash onto the floor and hurt painfully)) start this one slowly as it is quite hard work  Very Happy

Another floor one is to lay on your back but look as if your sitting on a chair ??

(am i making any sense??)

I.e have your thights verticle to the floor but calf horizontal
then lower one leg at the time to touch the floor lightly then bring it back up.

Hope i was some help x
Miss Baby Bones

theres a few cheapy exercise props you can use ;p try argos!

try buffering with a circle brush from body shop to work out cellulite and improve circulation (bad circulation causing the cellulite in first place)

work from back of knees up in small circular brushes, right up to the bum

god how much do i want one of those power plates that you just stand on and it works you out? lol

what about wearing a pair of MBTs? works your cellulite off for you during the day ;p

Shows how clueless I am, what's an MBT when it's at home!? [Edit: I googled these, they are HIDEOUS!! and expensive]

I will definitely try squats and things, I never find time to work out and I know that's definitly my problem, I have one of those steppers that moves up and down aswell as side to side (like the Lateral Thigh Trainer but about £100 cheaper... from argos Very Happy)  I just never find time to use it, up at 6am, out by 6.30am, work until 5pm to my other work for 6pm then work until 10.30, hope by 11.30pm... it's such a pain in the arse, and even though I don't do that every day, I do it most days and the days i'm not doing that I don't want to stand and brush my cellulite-y legs or bob up and down doing exercises, I want to just lie in my bed in a big quilt and watch mind numbing films!! haha

However, I must definitely put in some effort as they're getting out of control! Smile

I'll try the suggestions i've been given so far, any others would be greatly welcomed!! Very Happy

lol thats why so many people wear MBT shoes, as you work out while you're just walking about.

yeah they arent the most beautiful shoes, but with trousers over the top they just look like black trainers

saves time too ;p

Cycling and swimming. although I'm not the best person to ask because I avoid any leg working up/out excercises like the plague.

Unfortunately I've been cursed with muscly footballers legs that are rock solid without any excersise, but they just look so incredibly... chunky.

I'll donate a small portion of my muscle tone and we'll be sorted.
