The hair bibleI think I have found the holy grail to hairdressing. (Ruby please don't hunt me down) it's called 'The Arts and Crafts of Hairdressing'. This book contains gentlemen hairdressing, ladies hairdressing, children hairdressing, different vintage styles to do, how to open your own salon, manicures and make up for fashion and for the stage.
As soon as I have time, I'll scan in some pages for you lovely ladies. it's an absolutely terrific book!!

gentlemen hairdressing?
I got that covered

I just let my hair hang free. It's past my shoulders now so the annoying fly aways in my eyes are no longer a problem.

well according to the book herr, i could put marcel waves into your hair and it teaches you how to shave someone with a proper razor blade (and i'll promise you i won't do a sweeney todd on you should i ever try)

I'd let you shave my face with a straight razor. But only because you're cute!

Exciting!! But I must warn you Herr - looks can be very deceiving. remember the wicked witch/stepmother from Snow White? She was quite pretty and dolled up at first; until you saw her true ugly form.
Anyway I'm going to purchase a french razor and wait until you cross the atlantic. (I can sharpen it whilst wait too)

Everyone is ugly sometimes. You take the good with the bad or you get nothing at all. haha
but Im sure you're a lot less ugly than a lot of girls when not wearing make up

Hi HG
when you come over from the states I might grab you for a bit. I have an act in mind but I need a man who will let me shave him with a cut throat razor on stage. I will tell you more details if you are interested.

Doesn't sound bad. Being cut doesn't really frighten me. Not that I like being cut or anything, it's just not a big deal so long as I don't bleed to death and I doubt that will happen. haha. So, even if you do mess up for some reason, it's all good.
Just know that you'll be waiting a while if you're waiting for me. Things here are complicated right now.

Oh my goodness, sounds like something I need. Is it a recent book or one of those charity shop/2nd hand finds?
