Stupid dead end, frizzy, glue enduced frustration....My hair needs a darn good seeing to! I had extensions glued in over a year and a half ago when I started growing my skinhead out and when I took them out my hair was full of glue. We managed to get most of it out with vigourous combing and lots of conditioner but it ruined my hair. I try to get it trimmed when I can but I am terribly poor at the moment so the trim tends to happen twice a year when mum comes home from Japan.What does everybody use shampoo and conditioner wise? I really like Rehab and Retread from lush but I don't have the £20 to spend on it every couple of months. x |

I really like the aussie 3 minute miracle hair repair conditioner. You can buy sachets from Boots too that are really cheap! |

At the moment I'm using Charles Worthington Dream Hair as it was a christmas present, but I usually use Boots Botanics for red hair, as it contains lots of natural nice things to keep my henna-ed hair looking lovely. I try to use as little chemicals as possible on my hair!
I heard somewhere that you don't actually need shampoo and conditioner, a bloody good scrub under shower should be enough to clean your hair, I tried it in the bath (we don't have a shower) and it worked a bit but my hair was greasy again the next day. I also use washing up liquid once every few months, it gets rid of all the residue and build up that gets left on your hair from products, leaves it lovely and shiny! |

I swear by Aussie and Treseme conditioners - I stock up whenever Boots has 3 for 2 offers.
Aussie do a leave in conditioner specially for long hair and a really good serum for curls. If you're looking at the little sachets, there's also one from Naked - it's all natural if you miss Lush.. http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/s...amp;langId=-1&catalogId=10551 |

Aussie does smell GORGEOUS. I use the leave in conditioner as a body spray and spray it all over my clothes

My hairdresser only charges about £15 for a dry cut, if your hair is as damaged as you say it may be the only option and cost you less in the long run than expensive treatments. | ||

I agree it needs a good trim I just need to find a reasonably priced local sallon...
