Short Hair

I'm thinking of getting my hair cut rather short, but I've no idea what style would look good on me. Does anyone have any suggestions? (It'd help if there were pictures as I'm dreadful with hair, no clue about it)

I'm the wrong person to be giving you advice right now, as I would say don't do it!!!! you have lovely hair, there is just soooo much you can do with hair like that. Heavens above if it's as drastic as that I shall force you to London and show you what to do with it!

Hmm, you think so? I've never had hair this long before, its always stayed at just above shoulder-length. And I only ever had short hair when I was in primary school (that looked dreadful though, everyone thought I was a boy).
I have some annoyances with hair this long, but I admit, it doesn't look too shabby. I was also thinking of dyeing the last two inches of my hair bright red which I did a few years back and looked fairly shiny.

I'm terrible with hair though, its taken me years to be able to manage a decent ponytail. My hair is either a) down, b) in a ponytail or c) in a sorta vague bun by folging my ponytail. I'm rubbish!

Heh, given my boyfriend lives in London though, so tends not to take much forcing to get me to go there Smile

i have short hair, as ruby will confirm,( i shaved it all off last summer, no.6 clippers) and it can look very masculine, but i think if you have the right shape face , it can be carried off, especially if you do have bright colours in it,

im sure that there is a web site where you can put in your picture and then try out different styles on your head!

leave it be. I have had short hair for years as just when it gets long I normal dye it an odd color or let some mad hair dresser at me and its gone. I have just managed to get some length in it and I can curl it now and its great. Also means I don't have to wear a wig for all my acts yahhh. So I say go see Ruby and see what you can do with it before you hack it off.
