new girl needs help with hair and make up

hiya
im new here my names sapphire im 22 and live on the outskirts of london anyway enough about me.

i would love someone to give me a hair and makeup lesson as i am quiet new to all this and also have only just started wearing makeup properly but i would love to learn how to achive a pinup style look.

i am also intrested in trying out a hair style called the victory rolls and have watched several instructional videos but cant seem to get hold of any small tubes of foam to creat the look in my local area and the foam from the foam rollers is to short but is the perfect witth.
so if someone could help me out i would be very grateful

thanx from sapphire x

Ah now you seem to have happened upon just the right place!

I am about to launch the schedule for my new hair and make-up workshops. In the beginners class I teach all the basics for victory rolls and barrel curls and a range of hair styles you can create with them together with the make up styles to go with them.  Dates will be released soon and all the mystery will be taken out of these very easy to master hairstyles.

First off welcome!   Let us know when you are in town next.  Coffee and cake are always calling!!  I'm sure there will be a few of us around to meet up!

Anyway - you are in the right place for hair and make up.  Our own Ruby Rose is THE lady to talk to. Have a look at teh pictures I just put up in the What's on section - shoreditch festival to show you what a wonder she is with hair and makeup.

She is just getting some venues organised for her workshops, so keep an eye out for those.

But I can tell you that you don't actually need anything to Victory rolls or barrel curls other than your fingers a bit of hair spray and some pins to secure it!

I don't think I will be able to talk you through it without showing you, I know I got in a muddle until I saw Ruby doing on herself - so I will give her a nudge to get in contact!

Sian, I cant recommend Ruby enough, she has done workshops for me and has transformed half of Leeds into victory rolling and red lipstick bearing beauties! She makes it look so easy too and will spend time with you to make sure you do it just right.
Dolly Divine

Any chance of getting her further down south???

Ruby???

No no no I need her here too!
Ruby even converted some day glow leg warmers, tutu wearing, face chewing drugged up teens, they were fascinated by her.

Rubes, do you remember that? It was your first time in Leeds, we all got utterly shit faced, we walked to the take away and past this club, all of them were fascinated by you. We then went to the takeaway and got into trouble.
We were winning in every manner.

I spend every waking moment trying to forget, but it is burnt into my memory in glorious technicolour!!!!!!!!!!

I had a hair and make session at Nina's hair parlour and that would also be a good starting point!
