New Board please Miss Ruby!!

I am feeling terrably left out with all this make up talk so thought it would be rather lovely to talk about one of my favorite things... bathroom lovelyness. Would be great if we cold ahve a borad within the beauty parlor for all things bathroom related. Nothing gives me greater pleasure (well ok not nothing) than a deep bath with a lovely bath bomb, or wonderful bubble bath, or luxurious salts.. but i have brought bombs that dont fizz, soaps that dont lather, and mostures that dry out my skin! I have also brought some real lovely stuff it would be lovely to compare notes... so please ruby, can we have a bathroom door?

- i wonder if there is a way i could have made that any camper..

I thought the salon bit was for that, but I don't think another ones would hurt >_< I love "smellies" as my Mother calls them!

well with that encouragment... some good and bad:

Champneys - Spa Heaven "Oriental Bubble Float" - glorious pacaging, smells lovely, hideously expensive and actually a bit of a disapopointment in the bath. Just not fluffy enough bubbles, not sparkley enough - just not enough!

Agent Provocateau Bubble Luscious - Hideously expensive - lovely pin bottle which looks china but isnt Sad (and really should be for the cost!!) lovely smelling wonderful bubbles worth every one of the pounds!!

Lush Candy Fluff - Talc with sparkley twinkley bits in its! This is fab smells wonderful, is relatively inexpernsive - and its sparkly what more could a girl ask for! - or boy..

Saucy Girl pampering luxury soap by Asquith & Somerset - looks divine, comes in a wonderful tin with a pin up type pic on it, huge bar of lovely looking glorious smelling soap - but feels like washing with a brilo pad.

Moulton Brown of London ultra pure milk soap - oh my gloriousneous me this is the mother of all soaps soft and lovely and glorious and wonderful, this is the queen bee of lovely soups for its mosturising lovelyness.

I used to work for Lush. Started off brilliantly but with all my joint problems and a new manager everything got a bit hard to cope with for me. Let me tell you, its not as fun as it should be working in a Lush store!

I love the Melting Marshmallow Moment bath melt from Lush, and the Snow Fairy shower gel they do at Xmas. I got a sneak peak at all the new bits because my best friend works there. Let me tell you - hair gels are pretty awesome..........chocolate mint bath bomb with bath melt bits inside.........there are no words for this insane gorgeousness <3

Agent Provocateur is hideously expensive but I love it. I totally agree with you MIAH! I'm not allergic to it either *yay*

I embarrassingly have trouble getting out of the bath by myself cus of my joints but my boy is big and strong and always picks me up and out if I need the help.

Oh oh oh oh oh I LOVE the Soap & Glory stuff that has recently come out in Boots. You girls will adore it if you haven't already discovered it. Sexy Mother Pucker lipgloss and the shower gel have become staples of mine.

I'm a bit worried about how excited everyone is about soap.... I had my first bath in about a year on holiday. (Stop yer sniggering, I only have a shower in my flat.) I put a little bath bomb in it, it smelt really nice but perhaps I should have got a bigger one to get as excited as MIAH?!!
Minnie the Minxtress

It's a different world out there Ella, it seems... Yes... I am a lush freak (particularly for Cerridwen's Cauldron and Honey bee mine soap!) but at the end of the day - I always return faithfully to my Johnson's baby soap with almond oil... you just can't beat smelling like a baby sometimes! Smile
Selena Lix

i swear by Buffy the Backside Slayer from Lush - it smells divine and it really makes your skin all gorgeous and soft and smooth afterwards.
i just go into lush to smell all the lovely bath bombs!

Totally with you MIAH and Smashing Sadie- the AP Bubble Luscious is devoon! At present I'm all about Cowshed stuff- again, mad expensive (£14 for a 300ml bottle) but Oh.My.God it smells unlike anything I've ever experienced before.

In a good way Wink Plus the names are hilarious- Cheeky Cow, Grumpy Cow, Frisky Cow etc.

Somebody delivered a box of that stuff to my work by accident, and now it's just sitting there..

Ooh then I'd suggest a) trying it out - it's fabulous, b) eBaying it as it's in demand or c) selling it to me Wink
