My Ben really likes the Nivea for men stuff... but recently he has taken to using my Body Shop Vitamin E lotions and potions...the swine!

King of Shaves! Especially if you (or your man) have sensitive skin and have to shave lots - it cuts down on razor burn and keeps your face nice and smooth rather than cut to ribbons. And they do moisturiser and stuff which smells manly, not girly, which seems to be the problem in getting lots of men to use it ...

Arrrghh! don't put soap on your skin! It's the work of the devil!!! Seriously! Toss the soap and invest in some facial and body cleansers!!

I'm not overly concerned with this stuff. Soap cleans the mud and stink off. That's all I need it to do. Moisturizing and making my skin soft and smooth isn't on my list of priorities. It's not like I have dry, rough skin that needs attention.
When I get done shaving, I use after shave because it makes my face feel better. I use cheap after shave that is very alcohol heavy and is probably drying out my skin which will make me look old sooner than later. It doesn't smell like fruit or anything else pretty.
Sorry... I'm a guy. So long as I don't smell like a homeless person and I look washed, I'm totally fine with my grooming habits.
And the ladies don't seem to have any problems with my methods.

Sorry - I'm an ex-Beauty Therapist and I'm fanatical about skin!!

That's understandable.
I'm just sick of girls trying to strap me down and give me facial peels and stuff like that. It's not like I have bad skin. They just wanna make me "pretty", and I'm just not "pretty" in my heart. haha

These girls who want to strap you down and give you a "facial peel" - are you sure you're not misreading the signals there, Mr HG?!

When they're coming at you in baggy t-shirts, sweat pants, and wearing a mud mask while holding out their beauty kit... somehow... I don't think there's much room for interpretation. haha

I om the Dermalogica band wagon too, although Dr Hauschka is rather splendid.

I swear by Dermalogica as well. For all you girlies out there who use the stuff don't get it from a salon. There's a website www.jerseybeautycompany.co.uk who distribute from Jersey (funnily enough) and everything is tax free and delivered free! Works out much much cheaper and they always send little freebie samples out with your package and have deals every now and then for offers on products.
My christmas present to you all...... xxx
