Ruby Rose

Jazz/Swing Pianist needed for 23rd May

I'm looking for a jazz/swing pianist, a knowledge of all the usual American songbook tunes would be helpful.

Please email info@thebwi.co.uk

Thanks
Ruby

Oh, what about Pete Saunders?

He accompanies Ivy Paige and has worked with Mairanne Cheeseckae

Pete is very good, but he is away on holiday at the moment.
Ruby does it have to be male?
Try Katy Peaches, she works with Dolores Delight, or
Chrys Columbine, she is not only a good pianist, she performs a striptease at the piano. Hope that helps.

Lance Jones was the guy we had at the Rubber Ball. If you google he'll be the first one that comes up

Keri, you are so quiet these days, I do hope all is well with you. I hope to be on your doorstep in August, 15th actually:

But, as always, I bet our paths don't cross. Still there's always the Rhythm Riot.

Oooh hello my lovely. Yep I've been quiet, even had my moberator status quietly revoked due to it  Confused

I am overall ok, but started a day job which has kept me busy, and have been a bit unwell. Actually I'm back in hospital tomorrow. I was born with a heart murmur, which was later linked to a mild mitral valve prolapse, but in the past six months has upped the ante more than a little with regards to pain/shortness of breath and overall fatigue. Good news (hopefully) is its looking like the valve has got no worse and the answer will be unstable angina, so we can start looking at things like gtn spray/beta blockers, etc to find something that works. I'm 30 and feel like 60 lately!

So between the poorlyness and work and Rob's accident at Christmas, I've not worked, singing-wise, since December! My little ones nearly had me in tears the other morning telling me they were sad mummy doesn't go to work singing any more, but I can't see me gigging again til at least the summer. I also put a stop to my open uni studies. Mum, wife and paid work comes first, and sadly there wasn't the energy for much beyond that!

Anyway, as for crossing paths, I hadn't seen that poster! I shall have to investigate! Rhythm Riot is annoyingly one we never make even though its so close. The only people we have who could babysit for the weekend are my parents or sister in Surrey, which is over ran hour away and defeats the object of RR only being 20 minutes down the road!

Very sweet of you to notice I'd not been about, I wasn't sure anyone had. I'm still spotted on facebook as that's where my various groups of friends can be found in one place (apart from a few exceptions  Wink  ) and am slowly returning to the online forums, hence my posts today Smile I've got some decisions to make if/when I return to performing. I don't have the energy to fight my way up the ranks, and can't face the slog of weekly crappy crap pub gigs so I've got to find some middle ground lol. I've always had to spend time on poppy sets for pubs to pay the bills, and not be able to focus on some established sets I'd enjoy but have to work harder to find gigs for, ie. 40's, 50's, swing, etc meaning they're never as good as I want them to be. So hopefully now I have a day job I can take the time to produce something far more polished and I'm more confident selling

Anyway, I'm thread hijacking. So sorry Ruby

Off for a nice warm bath Smile  mmmmm
