Italy in the 1940's - Hair stylist wanted for film shootHello,
I am collaborating with two wonderful actresses in the shooting of a short period piece and we are looking for an enthusiastic hair stylist who is an aficionado (or aficionada) of 1940's hairdos.
The story takes place in Rome right after the second World War. It is a scene adapted from Alfred Hayes's book "The Girl on the Via Flaminia", in which one girl is persuaded that the only way to survive from starvation is to become the mistress of an officer of the American liberating army.
It will be a one-day shoot and it is TBC either on Sunday 15, or Monday 16, or Saturday 21, or Sunday 22 of February.
The shooting location is a house in Earl's Court, London.
The production is a no-budget film and we can only cover your expenses and provide the food. A copy of the film will also be given to you.
If you are interested and available on any of the above dates, please reply to this post or email Giannis at johngeorgegg@gmail.com
Thanks!

Thanks, Ruby!Dearest Ruby,
Thanks again for the wonderful job that you did for us on Monday! The girls were looking swell and it wouldn't be half as good without you!
Now, please give me some time to digitize the tapes and I'll soon be back to you with news about a cast & crew screening of the rushes.
Speak soon,
Giannis
PS: My girl loved you!
