If you're willing to go to South America, there are parts of Brazil that will knock your socks off. I will recommend that place, too.

Been going to Boarders and pouring over the travel books. Been looking at Vietnam very interesting culture and also once you are there very cheep to live.

Vietnam is actually VERY cool, but it just has a bad rep. It's prettier than Thailand, that's for sure.
