Hats seem to cost the earth!Looking around accesorize and various other high st places i am appalled by the prices of simple hats! I could make my own but im a little lazy so i was amazed that there was hats on the internet for 55 quid for simple side fitting hats!
Go vintage all the way. I'm gonna have to save up and go to the US and buy lots of vintage hats i just gotta save up for the flight now!
Any one who has any good idea's on where to find some cute hats that don't cost the earth?

Could you make it up for our little outing to Frock Me on the 24th Feb? Last time I went there was a good range of hats which seemed reasonably priced.

Ooo, a hat workshop would be class. Had a go making a fascinator as instructed in the last edition of Peeptoe and came out ok, prob need to practise or buy more quality matierials to make it look better. Was fun tho and would love to learn to make proper hats or headpieces in a vintage stylee.

I bought a lovely black top hat from Thrilby which I adore wearing - for a recent valentines party I simply threaded a couple of red feathers in it and added a red ribbon - all of which can simply be removed - I've certainly had my moneys worth from it - buying one is a great investment!

Having just spent a weekend getting to see Thrilby's hats in the flesh (or felt if you prefer) I can highly recomend them. There is nothing this woman can't do with a hat!
