hair raising

i walked into the hairdressers with a veronica lake-esque wave down one side of my face and long brown curls down my back and asked them for a trim. i left with poker straight shoulder length horrible MODERN hair Sad not me at all. walked home a complete misery guts and as soon as i got in washed it and made it curly again. my friend's already adivsed that next time i should tell them beforehand that i come from the 1940s Smile

silly hairdressers! xx

This is why I don't let people style or cut my hair. I know that it wont be what I want. I'm a guy so luckily I don't have to worry about it. But I'd still be pissed off if someone messed up my hair in a way that would take a while to grow out and fix.

Oh babe.
My hairdresser has run away to China to find himself sigh. So I have given up getting it cut, I am an old punk and love mad hair but everyone else wants to make me look like a house wife. The fact that I have it bleached as white as it will go does not seem to make them realize I like mad hair. Anyway sorry rant over, I cant have a si fi hairdo till he comes back so now I have a bob and will have to like it.
What is it about hair dressers that we let them do this to us and we just smile and run out. In no other parts of my life I would not let this happen. I think they put something in the shampoo that drains your fighting sprit.
Good luck at least your hair recovered, it also sounds amazing I wish I had curls mine is total straight, I have to wear a wig when I want curls.

i'm a lucky lady as my hair waves very nicely and never needs much styling. but you could try rolling hair round a medium size curling tong holding it horizontally - roll from tip to root then hold and slowly unravel - hopefully revealing a lovely wave Smile if it's too curly then try brushing through and using some serum/ smoothing cream to tame any frizz.

otherwise i might suggest asking miss ruby rose very nicely for some tips xxx

aww dear...my complete sympathy..luckily it sounds like it went back to some kind of your normal lovley curls....my poor hair meantime! yikes! Sad after it was butchered (no exaggeration i promise) i went to the very nice people at Tommy Guns in london who did their best to make me look vaguely normal and not as if i had decided stick my hair in a combine harvester....
sadly it is half the length that it was but i don`t have to wear a hat anymore so i guess thats progress!

mind you i think i`m developing a hairdresser phobia...*shudder*

xx
