I wouldnt if I were you. Most are made of a plastic/nylon componant and would only melt...how about cutting it or adding accessories to it to make it look less manly...

Yes, going to try and brush it and 'shape' it into something. Anna FL warned me not to take heated appliances to it.
Everyone needs a Anna in their makeup bag and household!

It will melt! lol might be worth washing it brushing it into place on a poly head and leaving it to dry??? xxx

It might look better melted, I could mold it then.

you can indeed straighten a plastic wig, do you know what the wig fibre is made of? If it is toyokalon or kanekalon you should be in luck.
Do not use hair straighteners,instead use hot water,or even warm water ,make sure the water is not so hot that it will melt any fibre,well not melt but frizz ,i hope that makes sense.
Brush it out and see where you get to.
It is always best to spend £25 on a wig more than £7,because the fibre will be better,and the more better the fibre the better the styling.
If you are going to curl a synthetic wig,go gently,use rollers and a hairdryer on low/med heat for no longer than 60 seconds,let curls set then roll them gently out.
I have started workijg with synthetic fibre a lot recently,and have created some awesome hair styles,and my first major wig creation is half way done.
