Extreme colouring

I am thinking about adding to the colour in my fringe. My hair has already got a base red (not my true colour) and then a brighter red on top but I'm thinking of adding a streak of very pale blonde. My fringe is short and grows fast so is in pretty good condition (compaired to the rest of my hair).

Any suggestions on how to get it pale without it falling out?

pre lighteners are good.

i just found bleaching my fringe is ok, as the hair is short and better condition than long hair.

try a couple of times, if you do it all at once itll go gingery!

and after a few bleaches over several weeks itll go really blonde.

im having trouble finding good permanent red dye...

grr.

I was really annoyed as I went to a salon to get some sort of colouring done and they said you can go black or copper ... erm... no!

When you put it on wrap it in tin foil and then blast with a hair dryer it will cook your hair very bad for it but it will lift it loads better. Go to a hairdresser supply shop you can get stronger bleach there than they sell in the shops. You can also buy blue shampoo takes the yellow out of bleached hair. Its going to be tricky and you may end up with orange or pink if you are lifting from red. You need a toner on top try an ash.

Cool thanks Diva!

Am going to go to the hair dressers at the alternative (i hate that word) market see if they can do it which may be safer hahaha or at least give me a good start!

I think its the best I used to do my own hair for years but bleaching is so bad for you. I pay up and get it down right and its white and I love it.

I just get so bored with my hair kind of. I like the colour and style in general but you know when you just want something different?

Thats why I wear wigs, mine is nearly long enough now to do something with. I used to have a different hair style every week and color, I have calmed down on that front. Its just so hard to get it back to white.

I love my hair pieces I got two that I've made up now one thats short and curly and the other in this picture. Guess thats why I'm happy with my hair at last, nothing at the back that I have to deal with and plenty at the front thats easy to reach to play with!!

You've just reminded me I wanted to look for another blonde wig hehe
