Customising a wedding veilDon't know if anyone can help, but just a quick question (and probably a stupid one). Will fixing diamantes onto bridal tulle using a Kandi Kane (that I haven't even bought yet) burn right through the tulle?
If that won't work, how should I fix them on?

Have you thought about buying the small sew on ones you get?

I have thought about it. I'm just kinda lazy

Ha ha ha, how about the iron on ones? That should be better. It should be fine on lace. Can you get a similar small piece from a haberdashers and give it a try?

I've asked for a kandi kane from my boyfriend for my birthday but I think he was very confused by the suggestion....

I think I'll get a piece of sdample fabric and give it a try with the kandi kane (I am so ordering one when I get paid on tuesday). If that doesn't work out, I'll have to sew them on and not be such a lazy git It may actually turn out to be quite therapeutic.

My veil was only a cheap one from ebay (I think I paid £15 for it!) It already had some crystals on it but I wanted more
If you are careful with the kandi kane I think it will be ok, just have it long enough to melt the glue on the crystals & then touch them to the surface for them to stick.

That's pretty much what I did violet! The one I saw in the bridal shop was extortionate so I've ordered one from ebay for £12.99. It's hip lenth and edged in pearls but I want crystals too. I'm keeping my wedding dress sparkle free so I can really go to town with my acessories
Also, I can afford shiny accessories but having my dress hand beaded would be ridiculously expensive. Eeek.

I'd go for it then, if you haven't spent a lot on your veil then you haven't really got much to lose I wouldn't have done it if I had a shop bought one in case it went wrong.
