Hi Syn

You can come over anytime...we always see you walking this way along road!!! So yes we can drink ice/hot camp coffee and fairy cakes just say when ever you want?

I used to have a tearoom and used Camp to make iced coffee, with lots of whipped cream on the top.
Its also good for flavouring in coffee and walnut cake and coffee icing too.

My Mum still has this in her cupboard and you have instantly transported me back to camp coffee milks shakes with bendy straws when I was younger . Gawd did I think I was sophisticated.

Going to look at for it at the shops now Smile

my mothers friend bought it in Waitrose, its in the cooking section
Man In A Hat

it is an essential ingredent in homemade coffee ice cream which, i have to say ladies, is one of the most devine things in the world.

All supermarkets have it - probably more expensive in Waitrose too....I love Waitrose but dont buy things i can buy else where in there...Sainsbury have it..

Camp Coffee, I just love the name. Shades of John Inman.

Ohhh just seen this thread!

I have seen camp coffee in the supermarket but have never been sure what to do with it.

so do you just mix it with boiling water like you could with coffee granules then add milk? I like the sound of camp coffee with cold milk like a frappe...hmmm... might have to buy some and experiment!
syntheticdarkness

you just simply add milk my dear hot milk for hot coffee cold for cold!
