I like, although confused its a triangle? isn't the brazillian a strip?
Ruby Rose

You are indeed correct, a Brazilian is everything off apart from a little landing strip in the front.

And if your waxer is a little too keen doing your Brazilian you end up with what my boyfriend refes to as a Clitler Rolling Eyes

hahaha!

I've been psyching myself up to get a brazilian for months... I always get too scared.
Fleur du Mal

I checked out a salon's price list yesterday and they listed Half Brazilian and Full Brazilian - wha't the difference? They also had Hollywood so it wasn't that ...
Ms Curvy Cupcakes

A half brazillian might be the front only. Coz the brazillian originates from skimpy swimwear in Brazil which showed off more of the ass and some women obviously needed the hair in their crack removed! I suppose darker skin sometimes means darker/ more hair.
honey moon

mm dunno the hollywood maybe botoxed and airbushed lol
Miss Baby Bones

tee hee!!

i do believe its everything off!

but botoxed would be funny!

As we already know a Brazilian leaves you with only a little stripe in the front, I'm guessing a half Brazilian leaves you with some undergrowth i.e. labial hair, as a bikini wax removes the growth that you see outside and beyond your underwear (presuming you don't wear full bloomers) as most ladies bikini growth actually begins on their upper thigh, and a full bikini goes further in than the line of your underwear so I'm guessing the half Brazilian works with a similar theory!!!

Hope that helps.

I don't think I could deal with hair being ripped off my labia. I fell quite queasy just thinking about it....

one word:  laser

... It's the future, I tell you.
Herr Geist

Yeah, but not everyone can be lasered. I found that out when a girlfriend of mine went to get the laser treatment and they told her she couldn't because of her hair time. It was too light/fine or something.

I guess I can see the logic behind it.
Miss Baby Bones

id love to have no arm pit hair actually...

Herr Geist

I use this for that

True, true.  The best combination for successful laser hair removal is super pasty skin and super dark hair - so I'm lucky, I guess! xx

yes... yes you are  Twisted Evil
Miss Candy

My beauician was saying about laser..., the painless one vs. the electonasis ?

I wonder howmuch laser costs..
Herr Geist

hmmm... welll... the friend I referred to earlier makes a pretty damn good living. The kind of money that affords her a huge clothing budget. I've seen her drop over a thousand dollars while shopping in a mall or online without batting an eye. I remember she wasn't happy about the cost of the laser treatment. So... not cheap I think.

*grumble grumble*

Makes me want to become a beautician just for the discounts!

Electrolysis was horrific.  The laser thing I tried was ok - didn't see much effect though.

Brazilians, though - if there are still people out there a bit perturbed by the idea - are a walk in the park in comparison.  Not painless or super-easy, but as long as you're relaxed and not hormonal beforehand (increased sensitivity) then there's no quicker, cheaper or easier way to do deal with it, imo.
Ruby Rose

Please god someone invent a one time treatment to rid us of superfluous hair ,nooooooooooooow!  Shocked

of course the other option is to become more continental and embrace our hairy ape ancestry.... Laughing

I've only been waxed three times (last year before my hen do, before the wedding and when I got back from honeymoon) and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I took a couple of ibuprofen beforehand. My underarms hurt me more, and I had been bruised in the past but the therapist was a lot better that time.

I want to go again when I can afford to spend on myself...
