Anyone got any foolproof makeup tips for show make up?Hey, Me again!
I'm after theatrical make up styles especially for eyes, oh and I don't want my skin tanned i want it with a sort of ghostly sheen to it, do i have to use all over body makeup or is there like a spray tan stylie way?
Cheers

Hi honey
Ruby is probably the best woman to talk to about all this. I use mac foundation with a little bronzer as it can make me to pale but covers great and does not sweet off. I use channel eye shadow for the same reason and I think its boujour mascara water proof amazing stuff and mac eyeliner and lipstick.
If you want stage make up I go to www.backstageshop.co.uk they do all sorts there have really good false eyelashes and derma color which is great for covering marks of all kinds.

Thanks Diva! i use Mac lipstick and eyeshadows already, The girl put a little of the powder on me and it was lovely, i'd just spent 17 pounds on a clinique one though, It is my next months purchase! does it last long? and do you use it everywere?
I use Benefit as well and i know they have like a body smoothing cream, i've got a face one but if anyones used it? lemme know, It's called Body so fine!
Any step by step make up tips as well are always welcome!!!

The MAC prep+prime is a very good base, it helps keep your make up on for longer. Also it's one of the nicest base around because it feels so silky once you put it on. Some base are really sticky but MAC is the best and you only need a small amount for the whole face.
Also lipcote is good for making sure lipstick stays on and it prevents your lipstick smudging on your costumes.
Use a really bright white light to do your stage make up in. I also have two books on stage make up with more tips if you'd like to borrow it.
