Anyone for a meet up later this week in LDN ??Hey guys, i will be in london later this week hopefuly thursday till sunday, and just wondered if anyone wanted to meet up for a chin wag, high tea(se) haha or anything else!!!!

hi miss candy,
if you are in london on the saturday then perhaps we can go to the river thames festival, we have a few stalls there and there are pubs and eating places on the riverfront overlooking the thames,
you can even go up to the tate modern cafe on the top floor and get a great view of the river although the seating is a bit scarce.
i am free saturday and perhaps we can get toghether a few of us and find a nice table at one of the places overlooking the river and sit, eat and chat.
there is some 1940's jive dancing going on at one end of the festival and the green stage always has good acts, and it's all free.
if you fancy going, i can introduce you to my river friends and berlesque compare if he is back from the countryside in time, if not the rest of us will be here.
it will be a good festival and a fun time. i will be there all day. perhaps i can buy you a cocktail and find you a nice seat.

well a good time had by all, it's 5 oclock in the morning down at the boat club.
after a long weekend at the river thames festival we finished by seeing the hurly burly girls, who were brilliant, miss adventure and her fire man doing their act with fire and glass and lady kamikaze with her troop and white feathers.
it was a long weekend for all and very windy on the last night, and the stage was too small for the field we were in concerning the crowd and it was on a slope, but the dance floor was buzzing with gypsy swing and jiver rock and rollers of all years.
i now know that i want to learn how to dance seroc. we all had a good time on the saturday/ sunday evening and carried on the party down by a local pub.
thanks to all the acts and the comperes and rock and rollers who went, for all having a fun festival.
my brain is very tired right now and have to get some kip in my boat. but thanks again to all the energy that made this festival potter field stage happen.

No worries rex i was a complete failure at replying/getting to london anyway! But i've PM'd you back now anyway!
