Any tips on Beehive'ing'?

backcombing, hairspray and a false bit underneath like a bun, then cover it with hair.

or a hairpiece. synthetic hair is easier to backcomb

My mum used to cut a pair of tights sew them stitch the section and stuff it with cotton wool.  Put that on top of your head and back come you hair over it and kind of stuff it in.  Does that make sense.  Anyway thats what they did in the 60's she said it even worked on my hair and mine is pretty fine.

I think I was 10 lol, my mum had this amazing long think black hair I am not sure were my fine blond came from, she looked great with a bee hive.

I think hairspray is your best friend when it comes to beehives. Maybe carry a small one in your bag- Elnett & Tresemme does them
