I just want to have a rant! I'm going to a soiree at the weekend and thought I would treat myself to a new frock. Can I find anything to fit over my stupid boobs? I don't think I'm that abnormally sized but everything I like is fine on the waist but won't do up around my top half! Grrrrrrrrrr! If I go into a larger size it'll fit round the top but sag around the waist. Is it just me?

I've come to the conclusion that women's clothes are designed by men - my wife has the same problem, dress looks great and will fit the waist but not the boobs, and if it will fit up top then it looks like a tent around the waist.
Dear clothing designers for women, women have curves, they are not straight up and straight down like a plank of wood.
I'm glad I'm male. |

Yip they are made for boys or girls under 16. If it fits my hips its to big on the bust and vice versa boooo. I am learning to take stuff in.
Hugs

Oh i hate this bloody problem, it was always an issue for me, small waist big boobs, since having my baby my breasts have stayed big and the rest of me is gradually shrinking, so i have size 18/20 top and 10 waist, really irritating, how do porn stars and dolly parton deal with this clothing issue??
- probably don't shop on the high street! |

It is indeed a curse and a blessing, and I too have the same problem.
I bought a vivien of holloway dress which fits PERFECT, so vintage fit dresses may be the way to go.
But Laura Ashley also seem to cater well for us ladies who actually have a figure, and they have some beautiful dresses at the moment. |

yes - I've got the same problem too. I really wish that the clothing manufacturers would cater for curvy women.
Laura Ashely stuff is lovely - but sadly at the moment it's beyond my price reach

All the dresses at laura ashley were 25% off a couple of weeks ago, so my boyfriend bought me a beautiful dress.
But I felt guilty and made him take it back and get a refund.
Bravissamo (is that how you spell it?) Make dresses and shirts specifically for ladies with boobs. They've got extra boob room in them, but the waist and hip size is a normal like 12 or whatever..
I don't know what the prices/range is like, but they have a beautiful basque that I want so much. |

YAY for being a seam-stress-es...
I give up on fitted clothes anyway.
Christmas jumpers from the 1990's will do me fine.. |
