Hello boys and girls Smile

I would like to open a discussion about being the other half of a burlesque performer.

As the other half, how do you feel?
What do you like/ dislike about it?
What really pisses you off or amuses you?

And if your partners don't log onto these forums (like mine) can you pass a 'statement' or a quote?

I've seen that at TeaseoRama they're having a boyfriends' panel, I think we should have one in the UK!
I was performing at a gig recently where there were 2 other boyfriends besides mine and they really liked bonding.

oh good god, id never put chris on a panel to judge performers! he's too honest and i wouldnt have any friends left!! haha

chris really helped me become a better performer!

im very grateful to him, cos he knows alot about theatre.

i love meeting performer's other halves.

Oh no I said it wrong: I didn't mean a panel of judges, no no! (English is not my first language) I meant they have a discussion/ workshop of all the boyfriends. My boyfriend is really glad to go!

He's helped me a lot too, and I'm really grateful

If you're trying to post a picture that is hosted somewhere else, you simply click the button above the box you type in that says "Img". Then you paste the URL of the picture. After that, just click that "Img" button again and it will show a picture in your post.

If you want to upload a picture here, just click the "Attach File" link below the box you type in and it's pretty simple from there.

lol tho a panel of semi-interested boyfriends is always amusing...

it seems when chris meets up with other partners they all rush off to the bar and arent that interested in watching the titties...

I used to when I was playing. Now I go to the Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bentley, and Supra IV sites to get my jollies.

Not that I can afford any of them Sad

I'm gonna get a Mini Cooper when I get over there and drop a V8 in it! haha

Oh, I do love motorbikes. I've owned three and I miss all of them. Sad

V8. Let's just say the Mini Cooper will move as fast as a Ferrari if I can pull it off haha

chris had a norton commando, chopped, when he was 18, he crashed it and it landed on him. broke most of him! yet he still wants another bike... boys!!

I've had japanese sport bikes so far. I want my next one to be a bit more chopper-ish. We'll see I guess. haha

My fella is really supportive, he makes my sound tracks, voice over, tells me if my routines are not working , films them, tells me if my costume need changing . Lots really but he does not come out and watch me perform as much anymore as I think he has reached saturation point with it all. For him the acts have to have some kind of skill, story or twist or he finds it boring.
Oh motorbikes and cars I love both, I grew up on a car garage so was surrounded with oil and engines, love the sound of a really fast car, so HOT.
