Why oh why is no one talking about shoes yet? Is it because you're all (like me) unable to stop once you start Wink ? I shall get the ball rolling, one brag and one confession:

Brag - I got 3, yes count them 3 pairs of shoes for Christmas from my lovely, lovely bloke who knows the way to my... heart. They are all from ASOS for those who know it (shame on you those who don't, check their site out right now, but be warned you'll never want to leave!). A shiny pair of cute pink patient heels, a pair of beautiful satin bright pink with satin bows at the back and silver heels heels, and some ridiculously high an' hot black patient 'dita' ankle strap heels. Oh yes, I was a very happy bunny Very Happy

So please divulge your recent shoe triumphs (and I'll share some more of mine - yes, more, I have quite a habit Embarassed )

Confession - I left my job for a new one just before Christmas and part of m leaving present was vouchers for Schuh (I think everyone knows how to make me happy Laughing ) - but - I haven't actually been to spend them yet!!!

Shame on me, anyone been in recently to reccomend a special pair of 'I have new shoes and a new job' shoes?

I don't know if I dare even let you girls in on this......

This is what I wear all week.
Mornings - wellies for dog walking in woods
College and rest of week - converse or trainers

On days when I'm feeling less studenty (and don't have to be getting mucky with paint) - a selection of my boots, of which I'm a collector. Suede is a fave of mine, lace ups, victorian...

Summer - flip flops.

When do I wear nice shoes? Well, the last pair I bought were for a funeral. But, I just don't go out to anywhere that requires foxy shoes...(I can now hear you all screaming...) Embarassed

THIS IS WHY I'M HERE (I can feel you girls starting to hyperventilate at my confessions). I need to seriously shake off my lazy, comfortable shoe image and VAMP IT UP!

Cherry - your man and your shoes sound absolutely divine!!!! I must go and look at that site!

Please do start me off I am a fully paid up member of shoeaholics annonymous, I enter a state of transcendental ecstasy when your foot slips into that beautiful new shoe and it fits, upon which I float on a magic carpet of shoe happines to the counter of extortion where I will happily part with whatever sum is required regardless of the fact you are spending 17 years worth of salary...... ahem, oops sorry, where was I, yes, shoes, love them Embarassed

I too have to admit that I have a section of shoes which I wear constantly, but it doesn't stop me buying beautiful shoes - maybe it should Laughing , I tend to totter around the house in them more than anything - there you go, another confession Embarassed .

And LittleMinxtress - I had the most comfortable pair of converse's once, but have never gotten around to replacing them, although I have fallen in love with a pair in black with wings up the side. Typically once I'd made my mind up to but them - full price and all which I something I very rarely do - I just can't find them anywhere! Why does this always happen to me... Crying or Very sad

Oooh shoes! I love them possibly more than lingerie (and I adore lingerie) the right shoes make you feel amazing! They change your posture, whether they make you feel powerful and in control or delicate and girly, I love them!

I'm one of those girls who leaves the house swearing I'm not going to buy shoes, and manage to come home with one or two pairs. Which is quite an achievement for someone with size 3 feet!

My absolute favourite brands are Pleaser and Devious, total fetish shoes!
One day I plan to own these

..just as soon as I can justify spending that much money on a pair of shoes I will never, ever walk in!

I don't know what you two are complaining about - I am a size 1 to 2. I REALLY can't buy shoes!! I adore shoes but I just can't have them - when I am rich and famous all the clothes and shoes will be bespoke...

Lacey - I do sympathise.. my lovely mum is a size 2 and my nan was a size 1 in shoes....

My mum used to buy shoes from a shop called Lilley and Skinner who made fashionable shoes in 'tall and small' sizes... but that disappeared and now she makes do at Ravel for foxy little shoes in the kids section. Poor little love that she is! Razz

Lacey - in an aid to help you with your tiny foot dilemma..I went searching for suppliers of little shoes. Sadly, this site only stocked shoes like this.... and I don't think they're going to be your cup of tea.. Shocked
