For all of you remotely interested in hats (and now that I know how to put them on here) here are some pictures of some items I recently treated myself too. I haven't received them yet, so these are the listing photos!
For everyone else - I apologise!
Feather and netting hats

And something for the next, next project (after the wire framed hat) (Ruby - I saw these and thought of you!)
That's it - sorry for the picture overload!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Hats galore! My mum has a collection of over thirty that I used to love playing dress up with (what am I saying used to!) My favourite was a black velvet pill pox hat with a bow on the side Only started making my own the past couple of months so looks like I have a long way to catch you up!
Very pretty - next up - the modelling pictures! Oodles of fun trying them on when they arrive no doubt! x _________________ When I'm good, I'm very very good. But when I'm bad, I'm better.

I am so glad that there is someone else who loves them as much as I do!!
My mum loves it when we go out - if we end up in a shop that sells hats whe is in stitches as I will try on the most outragous thing going and pose!! Trouble is I suit most types of hats!
I've not been making mine for much longer than you, I want to start making hats usuing the vintage techniques. I recently came across a few original books on eBay as well - they are as prosed as my hats.
I can't wait to try them on - only trouble is they are being delivered to my work address to malke sure they arrive, so I will be able to chack them and have a look, but will have to wait until I get home to try them on properly!
I will post pictures as soon as I can!

You could always sneak off into the toilets with them... Though with that many you'd probably have to make quite a few trips! x _________________ When I'm good, I'm very very good. But when I'm bad, I'm better.

No - I shall just show you though the window Ruby!!
Dorothy, I may have to take you up on that offer of that wire and stiffener. let me work out what I need first and I shall be in touch!
I am hoping to start making them myself as well - these are for inspiration as well as generally looking fabulous around my room - although I may need to put up some more shelves....... _________________ "A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort" |
