I always used to hate being so pale...especially as I am Italian and we are stereotyped as being olive skinned... well... I'm the complete oppostie of that!
I was picked on for it as a child and as an adult i have had various strangers make comments such as "Get a holiday" to me in the street! Lol!
In my pole dancing career we had to be extremely tanned... I have regularly been told that I was not tanned enough at dancing jobs... but nothing seems to turn my skin brown...not even the sun! Lol!
I used to spend a fortune on spray tans, mousse tans, cream tans... anything that might make me brown... they rarely worked and I always used to remain pale! It became a running joke in the changing rooms!
Then I found burlesque! And it is soooo liberating being able to throw away the brown gunge and embrace my paleness! Lol!

Yes I agree!
A friend of mine has the most beautiful red hair I have ever seen, thick with a natural kinky curl... and she always hated it!!!! Grrrr!
She looks like she has just stepped out of a hair advert and for years I have been talking her out of dying it...anyway, as the years have gone by, she has grown to love her locks and is sooooo glad she didn't dye it... cut to me looking smug with my "Told you so!" face! Lol!

God i love red hair so much! I know it's personal choice but i can never quite believe it when redhead girls dye it another colour... it's like girls with beautiful curls who straighten...! _________________ www.myspace.com/emerald_ace |

I used to be pure ginger til I went to live in the Middle East for 2 years when I was 11, and then my hair went a lot lot darker for some reason.
I am so thankful tho, cos personally I dont like ginger men.
Ginger girls are fine, but not men.
Not sure if I like my freckles tho.
Altho at least all the ones I used to have on my face have kind of disappeared. _________________ www.myspace.com/growlingclown |

Don't like ginger men? I have to put as my case in point the lovely Seth Green as a super-hot ginger man. x _________________ www.myspace.com/emerald_ace |

When I was in thailand all the ladies loved me because I was so pale and hid from the sun. they use loads of products with bleach in the make there skin paler. If you have a tan it means you have to work in the fields and you are poor.
