They are 8" high and pvc and stunnign and ermm slightly on the tight size.
I was wondering if there was anything that would support my arch as it doesn't realy touch the shoes and i guess that being supported would double thier wearingness

There are things that are like little insoles, hers one site. I'm sure there are loads more, just type in 'arch support in shoes' and see what comes up.

You can take them to one of those cobbler shops and they stretch them for you.

Scholl now do gel arch supports http://www.foothealthcare.com/acatalog/SchollInsoles.html so with those and a professional stretch at the cobblers that might do the trick.

In the end I used a hair drier to heat them up then stomped around the house in them, this worked a treat!
