Ok, this is bad.

Apparently, the bleach 'grabbed the ash'

what this means in non-hairdresser speak is........

My hair is green

And not just any old green!

A sludgy, greyish khaki green.

It is all going to have to be cut off, there is nothing else to do.

Surely there must be a way of fixing it. Can't you use a red tone on it to counteract the green? *hugs* I've had plenty of hair disasters in my time. I hope you get it fixed.

It can be fixed. I don't know exactly how, but I've seen this happen to more than one girl in my time and I've seen it fixed. Granted, it won't be easy. I don't know much about hair care and I don't know how it was fixed, but I do know it was fixable.

I have two friends who are very good hairdressers here in the Tampa area. They're the ones everyone goes to for outrageous colors and styles. If you would like, I can ask them what to do, but I can't say how long it will take them to answer as they are very busy people.

My best buddy is a hairdresser and I'll probably be speaking to him tomorrow so I'll try remember to ask if he has any suggestions.

Well, I only got in touch with one of my hairdresser friends and they said that it's possible to save your hair, but it won't be quick. It's going to take a good, long time of treating it to make it better. About a 2 week process.

But if you're sold on getting it cut... it's your decision. But know that there IS a way to save it.

In case anyone is still interested, the other hairdresser friend finally came though and said that this product will correct any coloring mishap you can think of without damaging the hair further, which will allow you to nurse your hair back to health quickly without it being green the whole time. I trust this girl. She's been in the game for about 15 years and has a client base that consists almost entirely of the goth/industrial/metal/punk scene in Tampa. I don't think there's a color or tragedy she hasn't faced yet.

so next time this happens to someone you know.... try to see if that person (or their hair dresser) can get some of this to fix the problem.

I can think of times in my life when I would have sold my grandma for that product.
