Hi,

In advance, forgive me for any forum etiquette breaches but I'm new here but think perhaps I'll find the help I need.

I have a facebook group called 101 Things To Do Before I'm 40 where friends pick tasks for me to do. One of them is, you've guessed it, a Burlesque performance.

Can anyone recommend a good place to go for classes, does anyone have a show I could get involved in? Or perhaps you have other ideas as to how I can complete this task.

To put it in context, I'm a writer and performer and may create an Edinburgh show or a book based on my experiences of the 101 Things...

I'd be incredibly grateful for any your help, guidance and advice you can offer.

id recommend performing at the Tournament of Tease that Whoopee club run,
if its like the previous newcomers night HipHip, anyone who asks for a slot gets to perform
its very friendly and a fun night
